Community groups in the Armidale region are invited to submit applications for the next round of Community Small Grants.

Applications open on Monday and offer the opportunity for financial assistance of up to $1000 for each group.

The Small Grants program is designed to assist local groups to continue or introduce programs that benefit community members in the Armidale region local government area.

“It helps community organisations to provide activities and programs that enrich quality of life in our region,” Armidale Regional Council Mayor Simon Murray said.

“That includes fostering collaboration between groups and offering seed funding for initiatives that can have long-lasting benefits for residents.

“The program has an emphasis on activities and programs that encourage the inclusion of everyone.”

Applications for this round of funding close on Monday 2 December 2019 and successful applicants will be notified on Thursday 12 December.

Further information and the application form is available in the Community section of Council’s website or by contacting Council’s Coordinator People and Community Services, Sally Schofield, on 1300 136833.
