The community have shared their big ideas for the future and now Council is progressing with the next phase of Reimagining Campbelltown City Centre.

The masterplan will provide a blueprint to create a sustainable and prosperous city to service the wider Macarthur region.

Council staff have been out and about to share with the community the big ideas from the Reimagining Campbelltown City Centre consultation sessions as the masterplan nears completion.

Further pop sessions will continue to be held throughout this week.

“We’ve heard that the community values the balance between the city and the bush, the need for green spaces in our CBDs and the preservation of our heritage,” said Mayor George Brticevic.

“Many of your big ideas will be incorporated into the final framework for our city centres of Campbelltown, Macarthur and Leumeah, which will help drive future economic growth in the region and create local opportunities for the next generation,” Cr Brticevic said.

“So come along to one of our pop-up sessions and find out more about our priority projects and what is imagined for the future of our city,” he said.
