Council pops-up in Woodcroft

Published on 08 November 2019

Blacktown City Council is inviting residents of Woodcroft and surrounding suburbs to have their say at a pop-up’ information session at Woodcroft Village next Saturday (16 November).

Blacktown City Mayor Tony Bleasdale, OAM, and Ward 4 Councillors will be on hand to answer residents’ questions on any council issues.

Mayor Bleasdale said meeting residents face-to-face is an effective way to engage with the community and hear about local issues.

“The pop-up sessions have proven to be a very popular initiative, with residents raising their concerns in a casual environment at their convenience,” Mayor Bleasdale said.

Council had the Woodcroft pop-up scheduled to coincide with the Woodcroft Festival in September, but had to reschedule to due wet weather.

“It is very important for us to meet local residents before the year comes to an end and I encourage residents to come along and have a chat. This is a chance for us to answer your questions and concerns,” Mayor Bleasdale said.

“We want as many people as possible to have their Say.”

Details When: Saturday, 16 November 2019 Time: 10 am to noon Where: Woodcroft Village, 3 Woodcroft Drive, Woodcroft.
