Council’s Facebook made more user-friendly

Published 30 October 2019

Moreton Bay Regional Council has combined its Facebook pages to give you a better user experience.

By joining our old Disaster Management Page and Events Page, we’re aiming to set up a new one-stop-shop for all things Council.

Social media is an important communication tool for us which is why we’re always looking to improve its functionality for our residents. Get online and let us know your thoughts on the new Moreton Bay Regional Council Facebook page: facebook.com/MoretonBayCouncil/

Introducing the Moreton Bay Regional Council Facebook page

The new Moreton Bay Regional Council page brings together all your Council news, events, programs and opportunities, as well as disaster and emergency information.

By combining these pages we’re able to share a greater variety of helpful information with you through the one channel, so you can find all the latest news in one place.

Simply ‘like’ our Facebook page and while you’re at it, why not invite your family and friends?

This will be our new channel for disaster updates but the best way to get up-to-the-minute updates remains the MoretonAlert service. By signing up to MoretonAlert you’ll receive free SMS, email and voice warnings notice of severe weather warnings, bushfire warnings, council prescribed burn notifications and more.
