Derwent Valley Youth Future Action Team (D’FAT) is conducting another Ellis Dean Reserve Survey to identify further improvements to the reserve.

Ellis Dean Reserve is the park located in Blair Street, New Norfolk next to Ptunarra. 

The survey can be completed through Survey Monkey and can be accessed at www.surveymonkey.com/r/B5LJDQY

The deadline to complete this survey is 13th February 2020. 

Since 2004 through community consultation and obtaining multiple grant funding, D’FAT through its Friends of Ellis Dean Reserve working group has made the following improvements to Ellis Dean Reserve, New Norfolk;

Establishment of children’s playground (2004) Establishment of shelter with picnic table (2004) Establishment of a mural (in-partnership with New Norfolk High School), BMX bike dirt jumps and legal graffiti wall (2006) Establishment of public BBQ area (2007) Reporting vandalism and removing graffiti (since 2009) Maintaining the BMX bike dirt jumps (since 2009) Maintaining the legal graffiti wall (since 2009) Conduction of a graffiti art workshop (2010) Extending the children’s playground (a fort) (2011) Installing agricultural pipe (2011) Installing additional seating (2015) Conduction of regular activities (eg. The Event) (since 2016) Establishment of basketball area (2018, 2019).
