African Feeling is one of four festival favourites returning to the second Liverpool on a Roll this spring.

Mac Street Diner, African Feeling, Kalye Filipino BBQ and Cream’d Ice Cream are among the roster of stallholders returning to South West Sydney’s best food festival, Liverpool on a Roll, on Saturday 9 November.

The four were among the many food vendors which sold out at the inaugural Liverpool on a Roll in March and will draw on global flavours to bring back popular bites and create exciting new dishes ‘on a roll’ for festival attendees.

“We created Liverpool on a Roll to celebrate our vibrant, growing community and the many cultures that have helped make Liverpool a fantastic place to live, work and learn,” Liverpool Mayor Wendy Waller said.

“Following the positive response to our inaugural Liverpool on a Roll in March, we are delighted to bring it back this spring to make the most of the warmer weather, partnering with some of Sydney’s best restaurants and cafes to deliver an exceptional event experience.”

Frank Angilletta, owner of one of Liverpool’s most popular restaurants, Mac Street Diner, said he was looking forward to getting involved with the multicultural celebration once again.

“The team and I are incredibly excited to get involved with Liverpool on a Roll again this spring, offering festival attendees something fresh and uniquely Mac Street Diner,” Mr Angilletta said.

“This time around, we’ll be serving up porcini mushroom and taleggio cheese arancini, our signature Italian meatballs in a rich Pomodoro sauce, with other exciting options in the works.”

African Feeling’s goat burger and chips combo will return, along with a vegetarian-friendly eggplant stew, spiced deep fried plantain and homemade ginger juice, while meat lovers will enjoy succulent pork belly, chicken skewers and corn on the cob from Kalye Filipino BBQ.

Dessert lovers will have their sweet fix sorted thanks to Cream’d Ice Cream, who are once again serving Thai-inspired made-to-order ice cream rolls topped with an assortment of fresh fruits or sweets.

In addition to international cuisine, with all food items capped at $12, Liverpool on a Roll will feature live entertainment, giveaways, garden games and a pop-up beer garden.

Liverpool on a Roll will be held from 4pm – 10pm on Saturday 9 November at Greenway Park, West Hoxton.
