Labour Day 2019 Public Holiday Arrangements

The following arrangements will apply for the Labour Day October Long Weekend Public Holiday on Monday, 7 October 2019.  

Administration Building: CLOSED  

Cessnock & Kurri Kurri Libraries: CLOSED  

Cessnock Performing Arts Centre: BOX OFFICE CLOSED / Online Ticket Sales as normal  

Cessnock Waste Management Centre: OPEN AS NORMAL (8.45am-4.30pm) 

 Greta Transfer Station: OPEN AS NORMAL (2pm-5pm)   

Waste Collection: SERVICES AS NORMAL  

Recycling & Green Waste Collection: SERVICES AS NORMAL  

Cessnock & Branxton Swimming Pools: OPEN 7am to 6pm  

Kurri Kurri Aquatic Centre: OPEN 10am to 4pm                                                                                   

Hunter Valley Visitors Centre: OPEN 9am to 4pm   CYCOS                                                                    

Ranger Services: A Council Ranger will be on-call for the long weekend period, normal services will  return on Tuesday 8 October 2019. In an Emergency please call the Police.
