Tuesday, October 8, 2019, 10am Reclaimed and reinvented objects take on a fun new meaning with this activation for Powerkids: Little Artists at Play by artist and educator, Verena Curr. UPCYCLE is a weekly pop-up play installation for children under five and their families to be inspired by the possibilities of everyday materials through sensory play that evokes natural environments. Pass through a bottle garden maze and tip toe over a raindrop pathway into a wave of bubbles. Jump, pop and dance together before settling down in a cosy igloo to watch, relax and play. UPCYCLE provides visitors with opportunities to meet, make, move, listen, and explore together. With a focus on environmental sustainability, UPCYCLE features many consciously sourced materials, so as to give them this second playful life.
