Santa Gertrudis bulls topped at $15,000 on two occasions on the way to setting an overall average of $7516 at Thursday's annual Greenup Eidsvold Station Sale, Eidsvold.

Vendors Rick and Alice Greenup witnessed a complete clearance of the entire catalogue of 92 bulls to a buying audience stretching across the entire state and into the Northern Territory and Western Australia.

Two entries topped the market at $15,000.

First of these was the 20-month-old, 731kg, 124 sq cm eye muscle area Greenup Pascal P356 (P) selling to the Gyranda Stud, Theodore.

The homozygous poll son of Rosevale Gallipoli K468 (P) is ranked in the ten individuals for the breed for Domestic Index (17/18 drop calves) and boasted a daily gain of 1.12kg/day.

The other $15,000 entry was the last bull in the offering, 22-month-old Eidsvold Station Presto P456, weighing 792kg with 132 sq cm EMA, who sold to Bob and Claire Lord, Kilterry, Neila.

Sired by Greenup Hunter H142 (P) the equal sale topper posted a daily gain of 1.14kg/day.

The Lord family ended their day with five for an average $8800.

Volume support came from John and Kate McLoughlin, Roxborough Downs Station, Boulia whom ended with eight with an average of $7375 topping at $12,000 for an Eidsvold Station polled entry aged 22 months and weighing 746kg.

Ben and Amanda Adams, Dangarfield Stud, Taroom outlaid $14,500 for a 23-month-old poll son of Greenup Fitzgerald F144 (PS) weighing 805kg.
