Elm leaf beetle treatment and herbicide spraying to commence

Elm leaf beetle soil injection

Elm leaf beetle soil injection will start on 16 September and continue until 4 October 2019 in Benalla, Baddaginnie and surrounding areas. The insecticide to be used is Confidor.

Herbicide spraying

Herbicide spraying at locations in Benalla, Baddaginnie and surrounding areas will take place between 7 October and 16 December 2019. Glyphosate will be used for this purpose.

Powerline and service wire clearance

Notice is also given that powerline and service wire clearance will be undertaken in Benalla, Baddaginnie and surrounding areas from 23 September 2019 to 28 February 2020.
