A community information hub has been established at the Ebor Sports Ground, to assist residents affected by the ongoing bushfire at Bees Nest.

The hub will be open between 11am and 3pm from tomorrow, as a central point for information on services available for landholders and residents dealing with the fire.

Council has established the hub and is liaising with other service agencies to ensure up-to-date information is available from the centre.

The fire has been burning since Friday and by this afternoon has burnt more than 67,000 hectares.

Residents and other people in the area are advised to stay up to date with the bush fire situation by checking www.rfs.nsw.gov.au, listening to the local radio station or calling the NSW RFS Bush Fire Information Line on 1800 679 737.

For information on road closures, check http://livetraffic.rta.nsw.gov.au. Roads may be closed without warning.
