National Motor Racing Museum

Celebrate Father’s Day at the National Motor Racing Museum on Sunday 1 September. There’s free

entry to the museum for all Dads and you can book a lap of the Mount Panorama Circuit in a

Bathurst 1000 Saturday Street Fair

The annual Bathurst 1000 Saturday Street Fair will be held on Saturday 12 October from 10am – 4pm. We are currently seeking expressions of interest for the following categories:

• Musicians • Market Stallholders • Food Stallholders

If you are interested in being part of the Street Fair, please visit www.bathurst.nsw.gov.au for an application form. Applications close Friday, 6 September.

Legendary Moments Dinner

The Legendary Moments Dinner is on Thursday, 10 October at 7.00pm at Rydges. Experience a once in a lifetime opportunity to listen to legends Greg Murphy, Steven Richards and Fred Gibson as they relive some of their historical and most memorable moments on Mount Panorama. Tickets are $80 and available from bmec.com.au.

Bathurst Access Improvement For Small Business Grants

Council in partnership with the Bathurst Regional Access Committee provides

grants to assist local small businesses and non-profit organisations to improve access and inclusion to their place of business/organisation. For more information phone 6333 6523 or visit www.bathurst.nsw.gov.au. Applications close at 4pm on Friday, 30 August.

Sporting Association Grants

Grants are available to assist local sporting organisations affiliated with Bathurst Sports Council for works or to purchase equipment. For more information call 6333 6285 or visit www.bathurst.nsw.gov.au. Applications close on Tuesday 24 September.

Water Restrictions

Level 4-5 (extreme) water restrictions will be in effect as of Monday, 14 October in response to the limited water available in Chifley Dam. The implementation of Level 4-5 water restrictions (extreme) will further limit outdoor water use and penalties may apply. For more information visit www.bathurst.nsw.gov.au/waterwise
