Meningie parkrun Event number 48 17th August 2019

What a birthday party it was. The weather certainly was better then at the launch. It was a beautiful morning with a very nice and positive atmosphere and that's what we want! It was lovely to see some tourists and also a new local first timer! As always we enjoyed coffee and cake after and that is really what parkrun is about. So a big thank you to everyone that has volunteered at some stage over the last 12 months, without you parkrun wont happen So here is to another successful year!

This week 19 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 6 were first timers and 4 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 3 different clubs took part.

The event was made possible by 7 volunteers:

Rebecca FALKENHAGEN • Angelika BJERSANDER • Margaret FALKENHAGEN • Carol EDWARDS • Inge RORKE • Michel ANGAS • Lesley FISCHER
