Gold Fields Australia commits $200k to Kambalda Pool

Gold Fields Australia Foundation today donated $200,000 to the Kambalda Aquatic Facility project. Representatives from Gold Fields Australia and the Shire of Coolgardie met at the Kambalda Recreation Centre this morning, with Shire President Malcolm Cullen formally accepting the donation.

Gold Fields Australia Foundation works with the communities in which they operate to deliver social investment projects. The Foundation is a provider of funds for the social and economic upliftment and development of people, particularly in rural and agricultural areas.

The total contribution of State, Federal and mining company investment into the Kambalda Aquatic Facility project has now reached $1.187 million.

The Foundation has been a long-time supporter of the Shire of Coolgardie, having contributed $1M toward the Kambalda Recreation Centre in 2009.
