Upgrades to our libraries’ technology and spaces

In the coming months we’ll be making borrowing and returning books more convenient for all our library customers. During this time, our 6 libraries will see upgrades to technology and spaces, including new self service kiosks to borrow and renew items.
To implement these changes safely and in a timely manner, each of our libraries will need to be closed.
We will only be closing one library at a time, starting with Greythorn Library Lounge from 1 August until 13 August 2019.
During this period you are welcome to visit any of the other 5 branches of the Boroondara Library Service.
Following the changes at Greythorn we’ll work at:
Balwyn Library from 14 August until 28 August Ashburton Library in late August / early September Hawthorn Library in late September / early October Camberwell Library in the second half of October Kew Library in late October / early NovemberExact closing dates for each location after Balwyn will be announced a couple of weeks in advance on the Libraries website and via notices in all 6 library branches.
