Congratulations to all the winners of the Northern Beaches Local Business Awards held on Tuesday 10 July.
Council was honoured to once again be the major sponsor of the awards, run by Precedent Productions, which recognise business excellence.
The awards acknowledge the importance of local businesses in providing growth and jobs in our community and also making the Northern Beaches a vibrant place to live and work.
Business of the Year award went to Narraweena hairdresser, 2099 barber shop, while Business Person of the Year was awarded to Shelley Werbeloff from clothing merchandiser, Vine Apparel.
Council is committed to supporting local businesses to become more sustainable and sponsors the 2018 Northern Beaches Sustainability Award, which is part of the business awards.
The Sustainability Award showcases how our local businesses are leading the way in integrating sustainable practices into their businesses.
The 2018 Northern Beaches Sustainability Award was won by North Balgowlah electrician business, Energy Culture.
