Icetopia – Fairfield City’s fun, affordable alpine winter experience – returns these July school holidays!

Following on from the success of last year’s event where more than 6,100 took to the ice, and the more than 78,000 visitors that made a splash at Aquatopia across the summer season, Icetopia will ensure the fun continues at Prairiewood Leisure Centre throughout July.

Aquatopia again will be transformed into a winter wonderland, complete with snow, festive lighting and music. There will also be hot food and drinks available to purchase on the day from the kiosk.

Fairfield City Mayor Frank Carbone said families will be able to make precious alpine memories without enduring the cost and crowded ski fields.

“Icetopia brings the wonder of winter to Fairfield City. It is the perfect destination for families to enjoy a winter activity close to home,” Mayor Carbone said.

“It will be great fun and fabulous entertainment for the whole family, day and night, making it the perfect destination for an action-packed school holiday.

“I invite everyone, young and old, to book their tickets now and join in the fun this July.”

Tickets to the popular event are now on sale, and with limited spots at each session available, they are sure to sell fast.

Cost is $11 for the first skater, $16 for two skaters and $22 for three skaters. Themed skating aids will also be available for hire free of charge.

There will be six sessions, starting at 12pm, 1.30pm, 3pm, 4.30pm, 6pm and 7.30pm. Sessions run for one hour. Please arrive 20 minutes before the start of the session for skate fitting.
