Since 2003, GeoLINK and Ballina Shire Council have hosted the annual Lennox Head Community Tree Planting Day to coincide with World Environment Day – the biggest, most globally celebrated day for positive environmental action.

Now in its 18th year, this popular community event continues its goal to reinstate the Lennox headland back to the way it was in the 1880s and, through the planting of littoral rainforest species, creating a lasting natural legacy for generations to come.

Not afraid of a challenge? Take positive environmental action by joining us at the top of the headland to plant some trees on 7 June 2019.

Trees, mulch, water and some tools will be supplied by Ballina Shire Council. The Lennox business community and volunteer groups generously donate a barbecue and refreshments.

Just wear sun protection, closed in shoes and bring digging tools if you own any.
