Requesting a City of Gold Coast service, paying your rates or keeping up with local news is even easier with the release of the refreshed City App.

Mayor Tom Tate said the new app, now available for download, offers access to more online services and information.

“This refreshed app gives you all the essential City services in the palm of your hand,” he said.

“In addition to all the services it previously offered, you can now request a new rubbish bin, view your account details, pay your rates and water, keep up with disaster information, and submit your ideas direct to my office.”

Mayor Tate said Customer Contact received around 1200 reports per month via the City App.

“We expect this figure will increase with the refreshed app. It’s an easy way to report illegal dumping, graffiti, vandalism, abandoned cars, water leaks and potholes,” he said.

The new City App is now available to download from your app store or direct from cityofgoldcoast.com.au/cityapp

Please note the old app will be deactivated on 23 May.
