Community Consultation - Unsealed Roads

Community Consultation - Unsealed Roads

Open until 5pm, 17 May 2019

Alexandrina Council is responsible for the care, control and management of all unsealed roads on land owned or under the care and control of Council. This includes collector roads which connect and funnel traffic between townships and local roads that provide residential and agricultural access.

Council’s unsealed road network consists of 403 roads totalling 770Kms across a varying range of terrains, climates and influences.

A large amount of feedback is received from the community in regard to the level of service being provided on our unsealed road network.

Considering this feedback, minor changes have been made to the structure and format of several key documents relating to the treatment and methodology employed when renewing and maintaining unsealed roads.

Council is currently undertaking public consultation on the revised documents, which will run until 5pm on 17 May 2019.

View the documents, ‘have your say’ and provide your comments by visiting the My Say Alexandrina website, and completing the online survey.

You can also provide feedback by email [email protected] , by mail to Alexandrina Council CEO, PO Box 21, Goolwa SA, or attend one of our Q&A sessions.
