In Accordance with section 3.50 of the Local Government Act 1995, Part 3 (functions of local governments – closing certain thoroughfares to vehicles), the City of Busselton will soon begin construction of Stage 5B of the Dunsborough Townscape Upgrade. The works will impact on the Dunn Bay Road/Seymour Boulevard roundabout, requiring the closure of the roundabout.
The roundabout works are planned to commence on Tuesday, 30 April 2019 and are expected to take approximately 4-5 weeks to complete, subject to weather. Footpath works on the southern side of Dunn Bay Road will proceed thereafter and will be advertised appropriately.
Advance warning of the roundabout works will be provided via the use of variable message boards located at strategic locations in the vicinity of the works. Traffic management will be in place and traffic will not have access through the roundabout. It is advisable to seek alternative routes around the works.
