New plan sets a vision for Kyneton transport movement network

How would you like to get around Kyneton, both now and into the future?

Tell us what you think of the draft Kyneton Movement Network Study 2018, a long-term plan that looks at the existing and future needs and aspirations of the community when it comes to connectivity.

Mayor, Cr Janet Pearce said the study aimed to help residents and visitors move more freely around Kyneton using their preferred mode of transport.

“Whether you walk, cycle, bus or drive around town, we want to make sure Kyneton residents and visitors have a reliable and well-planned transport network now and into the future,” Cr Pearce said. 

“Your feedback will help us to develop an integrated, safe, responsive, inclusive and sustainable transport network for Kyneton.” 

The draft study identifies opportunities and makes recommendations regarding:

Public transport Walking and cycling connections Traffic and parking Land use planning Road safety.

The draft network study was developed following extensive public consultation and was developed alongside and integrated with the draft Kyneton South Framework Plan.
