Cygnet Medical Centre – Sale of Public Land and Expressions of Interest

The Huon Valley Council is seeking Expressions of Interest to determine whether there is a suitable provider to purchase the medical centre at 14 George Street Cygnet. The portion of land containing the Cygnet Medical Centre (approx. 2,052m² – as shown in this plan) will be subdivided from the Old School Farm land if a suitable purchaser is found.
As the portion of land containing the Medical Centre is public land, in accordance with Section 178 of the Local Government Act 1993, a period of public notification is required which will commence on Friday 1 March 2019 and objections may be made until midnight on Wednesday 22 March 2019.
