Upgraded playgrounds in Adaminaby and Berridale are being enjoyed by families, eager to make use of the enhanced recreational spaces.

Both playgrounds were officially opened last week with Snowy Monaro Regional Council Mayor John Rooney and Councillor Rogan Corbett joining school children for the occasion.

The Berridale Playground is home to a number of exciting pieces of equipment. The feature item, the Grand Gatehouse, includes a range of climbing options.

The Whirly Rope spinner has proven popular amongst children of all ages and abilities with rubber soft fall underneath.

In Adaminaby, the playground adjacent to the Big Trout has been upgraded and incorporates a boating/fishing theme. Children can pretend their pirates for a day with the pirate ship design and wave rider boat a hit amongst youngsters.
