An application for the installation of a promotional sign at 15 Tarcombe Street, Euroa, will be put to Council for consideration at a Planning Committee Meeting on Tuesday, 26 February at 4pm.

This application was originally presented at the last meeting of the Planning Committee on 27 November 2018, but a decision was deferred to allow for additional consultation which was done by way of an additional notice in the Euroa Gazette.

The application was advertised and a total of five objections have been received, raising a number of issues including the size and location of the sign.

Since the deferral of the previous decision, the applicant has reduced the size of the sign from 42.4 to 27 square metres on each side; however this has not been done by way of formal amendment to the application.

Council invites anyone interested to take a look at the application and any documents that support the application at Council Offices at 109A Binney Street, Euroa.

The application and supporting documents can be accessed during office hours free of charge.

Any person who may be affected by the granting of the permit may object or make other submissions to Council before the Planning Committee Meeting.

An objection must be sent to the Council in writing, include the reasons for the objection and state how the objector would be affected.
