This notice may be cited as the Mareeba Shire Council (Making of Amending Subordinate Local Law) Notice (No. 1) 2019.

Commencement

This notice commences on the date it is published in the Gazette.

Making of Amending Subordinate Local Law

Pursuant to the provisions of the Local Government Act 2009, Mareeba Shire Council has, by resolution made on 23 January 2019, made Amending Subordinate Local Law No. 1 (Animal Management) 2019 (“Amending Subordinate Local Law”). The Amending Subordinate Local Law amends Subordinate Local Law No. 2 (Animal Management) 2018. Subordinate Local Law No. 2 (Animal Management) 2018 is authorised to be made under Local Law No. 2 (Animal Management) 2018.

Purpose and General Effect of Amending Subordinate Local Law 

The purpose and general effect of the Amending Subordinate Local Law is to amend Subordinate Local Law No. 2 (Animal Management) 2018 to correct typographical errors and achieve consistency.

Obtaining the Amending Local Law

A copy of the Amending Subordinate Local Law may be: (a) Inspected and purchased at Council’s public office at 65 Rankin Street, Mareeba Qld 4880; (b)Viewed by the public on the website of the Department of Local Government, Racing and Multicultural Affairs.
