Volunteering in Emergency Situations Volunteering TasmaniaWe all want to do something to help those affected by the extreme weather around the state; but right now, Tasmania’s emergency services and trained volunteers are responding.
When it’s safe, additional volunteers will be required to support approved organisations involved in the recovery.

It’s an effective and safe way to help your community.
You will be contacted if and when your availability, location and skills are needed. But be patient, it might take days, weeks or months as the needs of the local community are assessed and recovery programs begin.
We thank everyone that has called to offer help and who have registered already. Tasmanians certainly come together and support each other when needed.
