Town of Cambridge Library to Open on Sundays

The Town of Cambridge Library, at 99 The Boulevard Floreat, will now open on Sundays from 11:00am to 3:00pm from 10 February 2019.

Cambridge Mayor Keri Shannon said that the extension of hours over seven days was in line with other Council libraries in the western suburbs and better met the expectations of rate payers.

"We have had interest expressed to Cambridge by library users for these changes to occur," she said.

"It is considered that the opening of the Town's Library on Sundays will better meet the needs of a range of ratepayers.

"For those who like to do Sunday shopping at Floreat Forum next door, they can now visit the library in the same trip." Floreat Forum Shopping Centre is open from 11:00pm to 5:00pm on a Sunday.

"The Library is also a great place for students to study if they need space away from home." Mayor Shannon said.

Cambridge Library Saturday opening hours will also change to 9:00am to 1:00pm from 9 February instead of the previous 5:00pm closure.
