Thursday, January 24 – Monday, January 28, 2019 In celebration of the upcoming Brisbane Domain Day-Night Test: Australia versus Sri Lanka - this January, we will be projecting part of Ron Adams’ triptych camouflage (and you and i) onto the William Jolly Bridge from 24-28 January, 5.30-10pm nightly. Ron Adams’ work explores the interplay of colour, geometry and text, abstracting and rearranging familiar symbols and icons. He has developed a distinctive visual language that carefully considers colour, form and language as a way of processing and understanding the world. The colourful geometric forms in Ron Adams’ paintings have a wonderful sense of energy and vibrancy that captures the spirit of summertime sport in Australia, especially seen in this work camouflage (and you and i). The Brisbane Domain Day-Night Test: Australia v Sri Lanka will run from 24-28 January at the Gabba.
