The Mayor, Councillors and Staff of Sorell Council wish all residents a very Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year.

Council Closure

The Council Offices will be closed from 12 noon on Monday 24 December 2018 and will re-open at 8.00am on Wednesday 2 January 2019.

Emergencies

In the event of an emergency during the holiday period, please phone our office on 6269 0000.

Garbage Collection

Garbage collections scheduled for Christmas Day will instead take place on Friday 28 December. Garbage collections due on Boxing Day will take place as normal. Please have your bins kerbside by 6.00am ready for collection on these days.

Sorell Recycling Centre

The recycling centre in Stores Lane, Sorell will be operating as normal – accessible 24 hours, 7 days per week.
