Hillston floodplain risk management study and plan (FGS)

This project will develop a new two-dimensional flood model for Hillston following the completion of levee upgrades and then develop a floodplain risk management study and plan, to develop a list of floodplain management measures, planning controls and emergency response measures designed to lessen the impact of future floods in and around Hillston. This project will also consider the risks due to overland flow flooding as a result of the existence of the levee banks blocking local flows from entering the Lachlan River.
