Australia Day Award nominations open for 2019

Information and nomination forms for the 2019 Australia Day Awards are available here.

Council is seeking nominations for the 2019 Australia Day Awards.  This is the community’s opportunity to nominate its unsung heroes for public recognition of their contribution to the community of Circular Head along with the opportunity to recognise the importance of community events.

 

Citizen, Young and Senior Citizen of the Year

 

Who is eligible? –

Nominees must be Australian citizens and residents of Circular Head Their community service or activity must be of considerable importance to the Circular Head and the Tasmanian community The service or activity will have been carried out over a period of years Age Requirements Citizen Awards nominees must be aged 25 years and over as of

26 January 2019

Young Citizen Awards nominees must be under 25 years of age as of

26 January 2019

Senior Citizen Awards nominees must be 65 years and over as of 26 January 2019. Community Event of the Year Nomination for this category will be received for any event which was open to the community The event must have taken place between 1 December 2017 and

30 November 2018

Nominations close Wednesday 19th December 2018; forms are available from the Circular Head Council office or can be downloaded below.
