High standard of family parks

The newly established family park at Haasts Bluff (Ikuntji) looks great thanks to the efforts of Shire Service Coordinator, Rhonda Wilcomes and the hard working and proud Civil Works Team. The children just love the new equipment and as a recent visitor to Ikuntji noted “it appeared all children in the community were always enjoying their new park, it looks amazing!”

More family parks are set to be established in Kintore and Hermannsburg, and finishing touches will be made at the Ikuntji family park following a recent government funding announcement.
